Orchestra Days
Our Orchestra Days bring young musicians from different schools together for an intensive day of ensemble playing, led by professional musicians. Students experience the energy of a real orchestra, learn from one another and finish the day having achieved something they couldn’t have done alone.
But the impact goes beyond the music. Orchestra Days help young people build new friendships, new communities and new reasons to come together — creating positive activities and opportunities for young musicians in their local area.
Arrangements
We create specially tailored arrangements of musical theatre and pop repertoire that are accessible to students after just a few weeks of learning an instrument. Young musicians can quickly experience the joy, connection and excitement of playing in an orchestra — making music together before they might otherwise feel ready.
Our arrangements can also bring the whole school community into the performance, with opportunities for soloists and school choirs to join the orchestra and create a bigger, more complete sound.
CPD
We work alongside music teachers to build confidence, develop their skills and support them to lead ensembles, devise innovative projects and grow what their music departments can offer students. Our CPD is practical, inspiring and designed to give teachers ideas they can put into action straight away.
Primary Schools
We work with primary schools to help establish and sustain orchestral opportunities from the very beginning. From supporting peripatetic lessons and championing music teachers to helping children make the transition into secondary school, we want more young musicians to pick up an instrument — and keep playing it.
